Heilbronn House is the three level dwelling house design with a storage room design created by k_m Architektur. The house is located on the steep land in the edge of a green forest. The floating home designs with natural elements such concrete, larch, copper and glass offers a modern living. Those structural materials give strong characteristic of the single family house. Wooden exterior bring friendly and warm atmosphere. Wooden interior design brings an impression of openness and breathable.
The dwelling house construction is designed with consider sustainability. It requires the ecological quality such as geo thermal heating and solar hot water system. The entire facade of the house is wrapped by copper bearing. A small path leads up to the main entrance and continued to the overhanging home parts. Near the way of the primary entrance is used for a storage room design and the garage.
The first level consists of a guest room and a bathroom with a shower like in a fitness room. The hallway can accommodate a large wardrobe and show the way to the airy stairway. The stair will lead to the upper level into an open space for eating, cooking and gathering area. The overhanging volume of the roof protects the balcony from the sunlight in summer. It gives a shade to the expanses of glass panels and screening the home from excessive solar grain. In the winter, the light becomes a passive source of power.
The stairway with wooden steps leads to the top floor of the third dwelling. This level is used for master bedrooms, bathrooms and a dressing room. The roof covers the whole roof deck and the front facade is covered with cooper. Large glasses in the high room appear greater and better the connection between the indoor and the outdoor space. The house is an alternative dwellings house construction with the storage room design that can blend with the nature.
